I want to share with you a story that might shed light on that answer.
The British musician and producer Brian Eno reflected on his education as a visual art student. In grad school, he was taught that artistic revolution came from solitary figures—Picasso, Kandinsky, Rembrandt.
But as he studied the lives of these revolutionaries, he discovered them to be products of “very fertile scenes involving lots and lots of people—some of them artists, some of them collectors, some of them curators, thinkers, theorists… all sorts of people who created a kind of ecology of talent.”
Rather than attribute to these revolutionaries the term "genius," Eno instead called it “Scenius.” “Scenius,” he said, “is the intelligence of a whole… operation or group of people.”
This is true across so many fields, including medicine. The best physicians are products of a remarkably rich ecology of talent.
Netscape founder Marc Andreesen echoed this very same sentiment:
"Throughout history you've had this clustering effect. You had clustering of the great artists and sculptors in Renaissance Florence. You had the clustering of the philosophers of Greece. You have the clustering of tech people in Silicon Valley. You have the clustering of the creative arts -- movie and TV people -- in Los Angeles. And so forth. There's always a scene and a nexus where people come together."

The Pre-Med Academy is an 8 Semester long program designed to develop that top pre-med students in the country. We provide academic support resources including private tutoring, leadership and life skills development, and medical school admissions coaching and prep! Our program includes research support, mentorship, and personalized development of individuals.
It May Take Anywhere From Two Weeks To A Month To Process Your Application. Please Be Patient While We Review Your Documents Carefully.
After we assess a student's potential, we will conduct interviews with students on a rolling basis.
Yes! Not only does your child get the best tutors for their core pre-med subjects, but they also receive face-to-face instruction. We have both virtual and in-person tutoring options at any one of our several co-working areas in the greater Columbus Ohio area.

We also wanted to create a culture that emphasized a spirit of play and being present in the moment. These facets of the culture promote creative problem solving and become a protective factor against burn out. Our elite tutors provide help with coursework to your son or daughter during sessions. However, our academy is centered around helping students excel in all aspects of their academics so they can confidently take on assignments with self-sufficiency and independence. If students remain dependent on tutors for all their assignments, it means they have not yet built the adequate skills necessary to excel in their pre-med education. We monitor that development closely.
